In 2008, friend Kassim Tremblay and I took the opportunity to do a lot of travelling around China and climbed up Hua Shan. Hua Shan is located in the beautiful Shaanxi province and is part of the Qui Ling mountain range. This mountain is also the West Great Mountain of China’s Five Great Mountains. Hua Shan is an easy yet fun and memorable hike (YDS Class 2-3).
